Default Bad Pool Header

Both SH 3 and SH 4 kept crashing to a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with the message "Bad Pool Header." I was going crazy trying to figure out why and solving the issue. My PC kept sending an error report and took me to the Realtech site. I had already downloaded the latest drivers so I figured it must have something else to do with sound. I ran a “dxdiag” and decreased the setting on the hardware accelerator. That did it! Problem appears to be solved- no more crashes, no more BSOD.
