Hi guys, I'm running RFB plus RSRD. It's July 44', and I've been ordered to patrol an area in the South China Sea along the Singapore/Japan shipping lanes. While en route, I receive a "Flash Traffic" message telling me that all boats on patrol in the China Sea along the Sing/Japan lanes that the enemy has shifted the lanes closer to the coast. Here's where I need some advice. How close to the coast is "close"? Within sight of land? Mabey ten miles off? The coastal areas in this zone are shallow, probrably periscope depth at best! I was thinking of hanging in deeper water during the day, and then venturing closer in under cover of night. What do you guys think?
