Suffering from Hypoxia?

So a few things I notice and I want to make sure it is not some evil mirage..I am out of torpedoes and I walk down into the front torpedo room and low and behold I see a FULL bank of eels;.all shiny and new but it looks like a horrible trick on my eyes. So the PC says, sorry no more torpedoes but I am staring at a full rack. Next I get a message from the BdU saying to stop the mission and come back to base (Kiel) as I am out of torpedoes I am like ok, no problem lets go home boys. I had to log out and when I came back on, the message from BdU was gone? Again an evil trick on my eyes? I still journey home but I thought I would ask the Radio guy for resupplies just for the hell of it, he just laughs and says ;sorry, no;. I am near Cuxhaven and fire up the new Kiel pilot and once it is fired up I over shoot my turn and it says the pilot left my boat? I tried to get him back but not going to happen.

So I manually get back to Kiel and I find that I cannot end the mission? It told me to come back to base..now I am here right outside my bunker and I cant end the mission. I just hit the refit button but now I am so close to my bunker that I can't turn around without doing a 1,000 point turn and beating up my boat.

So bottom line what is going on? I might have to reload a previous save
