And even if it had, I think it would need a nuclear explosion to get off the ground. Don't get me wrong, it looks like something the Russians would build, they're into that sort of thing, and they probably would have made it fly somehow, and then it probably would have crashed and been abandoned or been too expensive to fly and abandoned left to rust in a hangar somewhere.

In regards to the real Big Boy, the 4-8-8-4, yeah...even though I'm not a big a fan of US locos as I am of UK locos...I'd still love to see one at full bore working a steep gradient with a max load...what a sight and sound that would be!
