You might try removing the CBS mod maybe there is something that is supposed to happen on that date that isn't.

You might try going at 1X for a day to get past the 25th. and see what happens. Besides in your heart you really did want to run a 1X patrol.

You might be able to go as high as 8X, I've notice that some things just seem to go differently above 8X.

If you got kids have them watch the game for you, make them earn all the food and shelter.
