Not to say there's any lack of completely horrible stuff everywhere in the world. Sadly, you can find some of it in virtually any country in the world - something like this can never be explained rationally or culturally anyway, only total psychotic madness can drive people to rationalize something like this

At the same time though, it shouldn't take this much to outrage people. The average rapist or pleasure-killer isn't all that much better.
