new harware help

Hi all

I'm getting ready to upgrade my complete system that ive had since 2001...she's old. Anyway, I pretty much know what I'm getting for the computer, but I could use some advice on the extras like a good widescreen monitor 23-24", a good keyboard (nothing too fancy), and a good simple mouse. Ive been looking around at various sites and my head is spinning from too much info.

I recently watched "lets play Silent Hunter V" & I got such a kick out of the game I decided I must finally upgrade so I can play it. And there are some other upcoming titles I'd like to play, IL2 COD, A-10c, Armed Assault 2, and the likes..
