Newbie needs help finding a mod

If it has been a few years since you last played, it's very possible the mod you remember has been updated since then or superceded by something else that improved on it or incorporated everything it did. But there are lots of great current mods to choose from if you can't find the exact one, if you see something that looks like what you want don't hesitate to ask about it. We're a friendly bunch. A lot of the GUI threads have screenshots that might help you decide or maybe you'll recognize something.
