It's alive!
...my new beast lives!
![]() AMD althon x2 quad core 3.07 win 7 HE 64 bit 1 tb HD 6 gb DDR3 RAM 1 Gb DDR5 video card ![]() I can play Rise of Flight at near max settings. ![]() I can play Napoleon TW at max settings. OMG! OMG, OMG ![]() ![]() Background story: Nevermind the, highend, computer, I converted a low-end one with a few minor changes. I noticed on my kid's computer, that it wasn't that bad of computer, just no graphic's card and whimpy power supply. So last week I found a low end computer that was pretty much the same situation. The only thing you can add is a graphic card. So, I took the power supply out of the old computer that I build (400 w) and swapped it out. Put a GC in it instead of the onboard GC. Viola, awesome computer! So, this take me back to my AMD v intel argument. For me, it's all about the price/ performance ration. If this were an intel computer i5 comparison, this would have cost ~>$800. ![]() botton line, it does what I want to do, and I built it for $300 less. ![]() ...and does Rise of Flight look awesome! ![]() ![]() ![]()
