well im sure they were trying to make sure you got the updates no matter how you may have made mistakes in your game, but instead there should have been a way to let you go back and get them again if needed and not be forced upon you by the continuos auto updates.

very likely this was one of the things on the list for the next game update that was canceled but we will never know
