Fire spread, what all missed?

So now that I got a mod working so I dont get stuck on the conning tower during the first mission, now I try to sink ships. Something is really wrong with the TDC and autotargeting that the only way to hit a ship is manual (ya I was lazy for a bit). After I locked on to a ship and fired a single torp at a perfect angel, the torp misses its target, frusterated with this, I did a full spread... They all missed, what the hell?
