I agree, most gaming communities act totally childish, but if you ask a question here, youll get a real answer fast.

I just have to add a "me too". I lurked here for years before finally deciding to post & contribute. This was because most other gaming forums seemed to attract extremely antisocial people - sad, considering that everyone had a common interest. One one forum the first response to a member's newly-released skin pack was simply a four-letter-word

. Eventually, however, I relented because of how different the tone was at Subsim. It's great to be able to release a mod without people randomly cussing you out or nitpicking. The moderators and commenters here do a fantastic job of policing the forums - not to mention their own comments.
