Hainan Heist help

Playing the packaged mission Hainan Heist, as a Chinese Kilo, the main task is to capture the US special forces team. How? I surfaced near them, leading to my demise from unidentified cause, presumably the US Seals coming on board and setting off charges. I set loose my own special ops team, and the two rubber boats merged and vanished, which did not credit me with completion of the mission. How do I capture those sneaky Seals?

Also, in the mission instructions, I am told that other Chinese assets are available to assiste with the capture. How to I request their assistance?
