Default Merchants with different vulnerable spots.

First, I have no skill in making mods, so please feel free to tell me if this cannot be done or is stupid ("Kiddy Gibs" excluded ).

Is it also possible to alter the vulnerable spots, engine, fuel, ammo, etc. of a model?

This is what I am thinking.

A number of differing merchants that use the same model but have different vulnerable spots, to reprsent differing cargo, i.e. a C2 that has the equivalent of ammo or fuel sections, fore and aft to represent a cargo of explosives. The variations are obvious.

The model would look the same, and the recognition manual would display the same details, etc.


Submited for consideration, or to be told this was discussed before somewhere.
