The shot is taken with 3D clouds disabled. Ailclouds only change 3D clouds, so that´s no my mod. These are the high 2D clouds that are aplied with some parallax simulation that atemp to provide some 3D feeling with that result. Sometimes it looks good, sometimes it not, but it is coded like that in the vanilla game.
