I think I know what the problem is, and why you had the problem with the dotted camouflage a few days ago. Are you using the UPlay camouflages on your boat? You should apply the standard non painted colour scheme in game, as my mod replaces those.

The mod replaces the standard (non camouflage) u-boat colour in the game. Therefore, just don't buy a camouflage in game, keep the standard colour, and the paint scheme you apply with this mod will show. Simple.
