[REQ] Have the planes communicate with nearby DD's

Ok, here is my situation, I'm getting strafed by a spit, repeatedly even though I'm at periscope depth. Meanwhile a DD is searching for me and running his search pattern as if the plane isn't even there and like he has no clue where I am.

Anyway to get the plane and the DD to talk to each other? The plane obviously knows where I am, even if his shots aren't doing anything because I'm underwater.
