P3 Orion - AGM-65 Air to Surface Missile

Hey, Im having problems with the AGM 65 on the P3.

Arround 5 mins ago I got off a server with someone (HaBo, nice games

)

He was in an Akula and I was in a P3, i new where he was as he surfaced right under me and gave me a scare, he shot down the AI Helo that was searching for him.

I took this in mind and got ready to blast his ass with the AGM Missiles, he surfaces and takes a few shots, I get him into the laser guided path and try to assign him as a target

it wont work. I won anyway because a torp I dropped earlier finaly caught up to him

But the basic question is, how do I fire AGM 65 missiles from the P3 at surfaced submarines?
