Seeing as how i myself pretty much stopped working on the program, and have tucked the code away for safe keeping. I see no need to sit on it. While everything "I" wanted is in it.. someone somewhere may have something useful to add (or fix).
So In the helping spirit of this forum, i've decided to release the full source code to my solution solver program. Included is the entire project (with all the graphical resources), and the files used to build the documentation. Download: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=1548 Anyone can modify it, add to it, fix it... or anything else they can dream up in whatever way shape or form they want. All i ask is that if you "Re-release" it you add my name in the credits like i did for everyone else's work i borrowed from in the program's about box. The program was coded & built in Visual Studio 2008 (using C#). I cannot guarantee it will build with earlier (or even later) versions, as i never tried. I am by no means a math expert, nor am i a profressional programmer. I am self taught over the last 10 years. Regardless, alot of it was done pretty elegantly in my opinion, but as always feature creep and performance tuning will force you to start breaking your initial design and clouding things up. Feature creep being the worst. In hindsight, there are things i would have done better had i known all the things i was utlitamately going to add. But given the extremely short amount of time i spent on it, it's not too bad. Anyway, enjoy it, and feel free to refine it or add to it. Last edited by gutted; 09-17-10 at 09:41 PM. |
