Bungy jumping external cam?

This was just funky. I was doing the Scapa Flow mission for the 100,000,001st time and was about to finish off the Revenge BB. I pressed the > button to get a view of a DD that I also saw in my periscope, but was just sitting there. When I pressed it, I was getting all sorts of weird angles. When I finished the ship off I headed out the west channel. When I got out, I pressed the button again. The camera was still at weird angles, but was bouncing up and down. It started as smaller "jumps", but as it continued it steadily got faster and higher. Has anyone ever experienced this before? I don't have the camera mod installed at the moment.

This is a screenshot of the highest point the camera got with me watching. I didn't watch much longer, though. I am sure it would have probably went higher.
