Crash To Desktop when selecting "nearest sound contact&

Hello all,

I just got the game and have yet to patch it with 1.4b.

I just experienced my first CTD when i select the sonarman's "nearest sound contact" when at periscope depth, when I'm in the command room.

I may have read something like this but I can't find it again.

Thanks for your patience. Need all your help so I can start playing again.
