radar range

Hi everyone!

what would be the approach to lower the allied radar ranges (and mine) to give me a slight chance of seeing the enemy (in the 8km atmo, my computer is too slow for 16km

) before I'm detected by radar? I'm asking because my current campaign is in the med (97% OLC GUI 1.2.7, with no sub on map and stellarium navigation

) and calling in air support is not an option when you can't visually detect the enemy.
