Don't know if I agree with that. In order to form an intelligent opinion you need to open your mind to all points of view. I've changed my mind on issues because of things I read, having other people point out things I didn't think of. I wouldn't say a forum is a good place to gather facts, but it could point you in the right direction to get the information you need.

I think debate is healthy. A forum is just a convenient place to do it. However, still trying to figure out what taxes, health care, and religion have to do with submarines......
