Seems like an unrealistic request since none of the U-Boats ordered into the Med ever left it. My advice would be to get as close on the surface as you can before submerging and to hug the African coastline as much as possible.
You might wanna sneak a few extra oxygen canisters aboard. Everytime I've done a Gibraltar run I'm almost turning blue by the end.
