He is not because of the lack of support he gave to the no on 8 movement.
However, I think it matters little as state by state they are gaining the right to marry and every year it becomes more taboo to be homophobic. Matter of fact now that I think about it. An openly gay member may do more harm than good in that case. The cause for equality is one of time and patience. |
