Default I'm always game for free meat !!

Just taken out a Chitose, move out the rear of the convoy at max depth.
Listen to the convoy fade away on sonar, surface and 'TC' it :time 16:00 something.

TC begins to stutter at around 20:00 (means the fish are biting), bang time to 1x and submerge. On the sonar I hear a medium size convoy, so I spend 30 minutes trying to determine it's course... No change, so it's either coming or going - surface and head straight for it.

In the darkness I see a ship... must be the front escort, but searching 360 gives me nothing ??. I approach it a 5 knots and track it's movement with the UZO/TBT. after a while.. This thing isn't moving. But it's big.. has the convoy 'parked' off, but there are no other ships around.

Get closer and the funnel is really very big for this ship, so after a little while longer I see the decks awash... WHOOOOPIE Saddle them up boys, open the doors. Position and fire - 3 torps (1 dud) and down she goes - A medium passenger liner.

The Real environment mist/haze made it a real (great) effort to ID the ship.
I spent a long time creeping up on it just in case it was an escort... the tension was good. (16K @ 12 torps so far on my first serious career)
