Default You make the call....

remember that in the old days.. I think it was Old Spice that sponsered it...some of the commercials during the old NFL games..

OK...I want to see what YOU would have done my last mission...

May 1940...patrolling grid AE after leaving the supply ship off greenland...overcast, rain,
"WARSHIP SPOTTED"
I dive to periscope depth, hard right rudder..heading around 158 degrees or so...find them in my periscope...there..northwest of us....

An American convoy..all warships...several destroyers..can see a cruiser it appears, 2 BIG BATTLESHIPS..first i've seen. destroyer screen passes me, closest is at 267, moving fast away...next one inbound...drop scope...ahead flank, 15 meters depth...spin around...from the bow tubes I have electric in tubes 3 and 1, steam in 2 and 4. 4300 yards to the trailing battleship, 114 degrees and climbing on the angle..

i didn't make the shot due to them being neutral and cautious of renown.

the trailing destroyer is inbound..drop my scope again and head towards him, ahead slow and dropping to 80 meters and let them head on by towards Rekjavik...never was pinged..no depth charges...

What would you have done? what would've been the negative effects on a neutral
