First off, very new to this game so I'm having problems firing torpedos. I'm no good at it to begin with so I'd like to do it simply. I have a few problems so I'll outline them:
1) I can't tell where ships are when the sonar announces their bearing. Does that mean if they're at bearing 241, I can point my periscope at the 241 notch and that's exactly where the ship is? 2) I generally can't tell where anything is underwater so I started surfacing the ship so they appear on the map, but then I found out you could just raise the periscope and it'd do that to, but either way it gives away your position. How do you find out where a ship is so you can shoot it down without using a periscope or surfacing? I figure it has something to do with bearing. 3) I also tried using the TDC to fire off torpedos, but the torpedos always miss and I can only fire the torpedos in a left direction, so I usually end up spinning around in the water aimlessly until the ship just happens to cros over the torpedo line and I fire off shots. Is there any easier way to fire torpedos in the right direction? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you! |
