GWX problem - am i stupid?

hi, i patched my SH3 to 1.4b today and installed GWX3.0 Gold. game boted up fine and i can move through all the menu's no prob (kudos to the dev. team menus are real cool looking) started a new career in the black sea, but when i try to load a camnpaign patrol, or single mission the game will load till what looks like 95% percent then it freezes. the same problem occurs when i try to load the museum. i try to load anything and it goes well till the near end and then the load freezes (stops). this sucks for me. but i was hoping somebody else has had this problem, or knows how to solve it.

plz help
