The navys in 1991...?

Hello.

I'm making a few missions dated on 1991 and need some help.
I put this here, not in the editor forum because my questions are not about the editing, but about what ships can I use.

I'm using for the Soviet Union (hehe)

Akula I improved for playable sub. IÂ´m thinking on use Kilo SS too.

For the Americans I put a 688 (not a 688i).

I'm thinking that I should not use Perry, nor AkulaII, nor Kilo improved, do I?

What ships would be right to use and waht would be too "new" for that year?
