This is probably common knowledge...but I'm an uncommon guy.
![]() ![]() I ran into a large convoy in the Western Approaches. Shadowed them to get a good heading for them and then got set up in front. Kiiled a Large merchie and damaged a whale factory ship. Saved game after elluding the destroyer. Started saved game next day and while getting out of visual range to surface and do another "end around" for another go at them, my damaged whaler finally sunk...huge explosions...the whole bit. But...no kill symbol on the map and no credit for the whaler. Is it normal to lose a kill for a ship you damaged before a save, but that only sinks after the saved mission is restarted? |

You should also get at least 50km away from the last ship that you sunk before saving. Otherwise that ship may respawn; you'll get credit for sinking it the first time but you'll get zilch if you sink it again. If you're using GWX see the "50km rules" section in the manual.
