New Intel Chip 2009 core i7

Any opinions? Looking to upgrade to a new PC but maybe I should wait till this one is out and running...

Maybe you're better of buying a penryn quadcore with 12 megabyte l2 cache.
The new i7 are good processors for servers, but they don't give a great performance increase over penryn for games and other non server applications.
Have a look at the anandtech preview.
