Sorry for the noob question, but I do not know if it is a UBM feature or part of a mod. So, I'll ask it out.
![]() Departing from PH, I reach Midway to refit/refuel. Then, I get as a feedback message that I have to stay four hours in port, even though I am quite far from the harbor installations, yet still in the base's effective range. Do I have to immediately stop the engines and wait the four hours before leaving, do I have to head inside the port, or neither? Thanks! :p |

Must be a mod feature Ive never seen that in stock game.
In stock game you press the refit button and "POOF" your magically refueled and re-stocked in torpedoes (and food to I guess). Sounds like the mod is more realistic. Your going to have to ask the modders about it. |

I run with 1.5, TMO, RSRDC, and PE mods, and I still get the "POOF! You're refueled!" with that combination of mods.

I received this message tonight while playing with the same mod setup, It said wait 4 hours however it did instantly replenish my stocks. I didnt take note, but does it advance the in-game time 4 hours?

I've seen that message, and it doesn't seem to actually have any effect on gameplay. I suspect it's meant for realism. Whichever mod (probably RFB) produces that message can't or doesn't actually modify the game's refit behavior, but its creator wants to remind you that for maximum realism, you shouldn't go anywhere until a reasonable amount of time has elapsed. It's a lot like the shakedown trials if you start an SHIII GWX campaign in August, '39. You're not obligated, but the creator has set up a framework for you.

Part of RSRD. As we know, filling 15000 gallons of fuel does not happen in a minute. So, as part of realism, this was added as the average time for refuel. I normally do not TC for 4 hours. I just blast out of port.

The "wait 4 hours message" was originally added by Beery back when he was still modding RFB, and we've decided to keep it. Like others have said, it's just a note for those that want a touch more realism in their campaigns.

Was that Beery's? I thought Lurker put it in there. :hmm: Learn something new everyday.
