I understand - I like the T-2's and it feels a little sad to sink ships of any type.

About 10 years back I visited Canada and saw a bulk freighter on the lakes that may have been a converted T-2 tanker (based on the size and the distinctive portholed wheelhouse). Amazing to see these ships still in use, IMO. Unfortunately it was too far away to read the name - I have always wondered what it was.:hmm:

Hey IBL, have a look at http://www.boatnerd.com/ . Despite the name, it's a pretty good site on Great Lakes shipping, inc lots of photos inc historical photos. You may find the one you saw or something similar anyway. I suspect that if you contacted them with a description they would be able to help you identify it.

Not exactly a T-2, but here is a medium tanker with the giant neutrality flags scheme:

Scheduled for release with the other ships (sorry - I am not certain of the date).

I like how the neutral countries painted their ships this way - it makes for some interesting (and patriotic-looking) designs.

@Nik - Thank you for the boatnerd link - that's a good idea. Maybe I'll also find some pix of the "Quebecois" and the "Seaway Queen", both of which I also saw on that trip.

Tanker 09 and Tanker 13 seems to work properly. Both have been sunk near Florida straits. No serious problems (skins, textures, AI behavior, damage, etc.) to report. Good work captain . Eager to see more of your ships.

Ps. Long sinking time noticed inspite of 2 HT's direct hits. Perhaps I need something more powerful to feed my fishes:hmm: .

Hello Mate, thank you I will wait till you releasse.

As far as I know ESSO was a joint venture between a American and an Dutch oil compagnie.
Shell was a joint venture between an Enlisch an a Dutch Oil compagnie.

Thanks a Lot.
