Not unless you add mods
GWX and WAC both have AI subs
GWX has Russian and Italy one too

Hi, welcome! unlucky, in SH3 stock you are alone. But if you upgrade SH3 with the supermod GWX2.0 you will see U-boats in harbours and at sea. They can attack a convoy with their deck gun, i saw them in action (but not fire torpedoes due to SH3 limitations). In GWX2.0 there are allied submarines, too! So if you can, skip to GWX2.0 and you'll have a totally different game!!

Being a warship and only 700tons or so an S class sub is not worth a whole lot of renown, less than a DD but more than an armed trawler. however sinking one is always a good feeling

With GWX 1.3 i saw a british one, don´t know what class, escorting a convoy along with 2 DD´s; I hit it with my last torpedo, she went to the bottom after stopping but never got credited.

Would be either a 'T' or an 'S' class.

Here I am arriving at milk cow U-461, with a type IXB already there. The date is March 1943.

I find something new everytime I take GWX 2.1 out for a patrol. Excellent work GWX crew!

That's stock.

Stock refers to SH3 that hasn't been given the superMOD treatment.

That is, if i'm not mistaken.
