Default Subsim Mastermind # 001 (formerly Quick quiz)

Ok so the idea is that with this quiz I will say only how many
someone has right and wrong, but I wont say which is right
or wrong. first one to get all six is the winner.

Subsimmers master mind 001.

1. What submarine shot down an airship ?
[edit] there are apparently two correct answers
to this question I will accept either.

2. what do the RN Aircraft carrier
Ark Royal and the IJN light cruiser
Yubari have in common?

3. What unusual tactic killed
U-40,U-23 and C-33 ?

4. What submarine fired the first ever torpedo in anger?
[edit succesfully]

5. What happened to submarines worldwide on May 17 1943?

6. What is the record for surviving on a raft after torpedoing by
a submarine?

1. U-134 v. K-74

2. Sunk by Submarines

3. That was the merchant towing a hidden submarine right?

4. The Hunley used her spar torpedo to destroy USS Housatonic, but that doesn't count, right? (Or maybe the Turtle but that's not even a torpedo...)

I'm probably wrong, but is it U-15 in the early days of the First Battle of the Atlantic?

5. The MI6 and the Office of Strategic Services agree to share cipher intelligence?

6. Poon Lim, 133 days

U-23 was also sunk by a Decoy Trawler towing a Submarine

Also, How could it possibly be UB-1 when it was commissioned in 1915?

so at least at this point theres only two correct.
but I see that youve discovered two of your errors
already. so assuming you notice shortly that
you missed a correction I will score you four correct
once you fix Q? # 3

a hint to all.............

bear in mind this researching Q's and A's thing is still new for me
mostly so a little leeway is asked for.

what I will say in the open is
I still dont have what I want for ark royal and yubari
but realize that they of course have three main
commonalities.

unlike question 1 however in this case I am still holding out
for what they have in common with each other that they
do not have in common with many other ships.

Both were sunk with minimal casualties (1 for Ark Royal, 19 for Yubari)?

Both were knocked dead in the water by a single Torpedo hit?

They are in a class of 1
No other ships in class

1) U-134

2) Both were torpedoed and sunk by enemy submarines (and both sank a day after being torpedoed). Also, both served as flagships at one time or another.

3) All were sunk by a decoy trawler that was hauling an enemy submarine along behind it.

4) UB-1 in 1915.

5) Sonar used to measure depth was introduced to all u-boats in the Kriegsmarine.

6) 133 days, a feat done by 2nd Steward Poon Lim (born Hone Kong) after his ship, the S.S. Ben Lomond, was torpedoed and sunk by a u-boat 750 miles from the Azores on November 23, 1942, at 11:45 AM. He was picked up by a Brazilian fishing vessel on April 5, 1943.
