He wasn't complaining that the sun looks like a golf ball for everybody. He seemed to know how it's supposed to look. He was complaining that for some reason it refuses to look that way for him. People are trying to help him fix it.

some people have experienced a sun which is perfectly round, with no glow, just a big orange ball up in the sky with sharp edges.

your sun has a glow, a halo if you will... a corona.

some people are not so lucky, but i think there are fixes.

next time you play the game look at the sun and hit shift page down a few times and you will see what i mean.

(or maybe its control page down).

@StarLion45....your sun/halo is fine, but the other posters is wrong/faulty.

Doesn't look like the 'fix' has been found yet :hmm:

I got a golfball sun when I added OLCE2, running at 1600X1200 with a 8800 gtx.

I fixed it by putting the dll files from the resfix in my sh3 folder which I hadn't bothered to do before.

Remind me when I had a bastard bomber plane came out of a very bright sun when my watch crew couldn't spot him, my u-boat was badly hit by 2 bombs lost 5 crewmen and I just made it half way home then suddenly me poor old girl finally gave up she went down

I could have swam home close to shore to get myself another u-boat now why can't this bastard game let me continous, instead of restarting from scratch from my last game backup bastard british bomber when she hit me right in my square hard ass

And it not funny!

True! would have been better if I was shot in the head by the AA gun instead I've been bombed badly.
