Hi, first of all hello again, i keep coming back because i love this game. I love GWX too but as of late i came across problems installing GWX 2.1. The game crashes sometimes for no apparent reason. My specs should be enough: Dual core 2.14Gh, 2GB SDRAM. I seem to crash at completely random times but all of those in the surface and around other ships. As anyone run across such problems? Thank you.

It turned out it didn't work. I will now test to deactivate my AV system (AVAST in case you know any issues please report to me and the devs of course).
My gut feeling is i'm doing something wrong but i don't know what that might be.Could this be a faulty instalation? I did have to reinstall the game but i'm not sure what i did wrong. I began by uninstalling the 2.0 version, delete game folder (but i forgot the my documents one at this point), then i applied the 1.4b patch and remembered to delete the My Documents folder before i proceed to install GWX 2.0 and 2.1 in this order of course.

SH3 is very, very sensitive to the activities of other programs. Close down as many as you can. Even those you can not see running.
Make sure you know what you are doing first.

It seems it was AVAST Antivirus software.

You really should follow Letum's advice and shut down everything you don't need. Enditall is good; I use FS autostart myself and I close everything. This frees up memory for the game, which it needs in harbor and with a lot of particles. I also disabled the damn balloons in registry.
