I've returned to SH3/GWX after long break and learn how to sail again. I use SH3 Commander 3.11 too. I've noticed one thing, don't know is it bug or not - I start new campaign in August 1939, 7th Flotilla, at sea in Guinea Bay. Is it correct? I thought it should be Pillau Bay (AO78).

Hello Captains Jaxa and Murdock
According various statements you must use GWX 2.1 if you want to use SH3 Commander 3.1x for new career start in 8/1939. Because GWX 2.0 or standard SH3 1.4 have not configurate port for starting patrol before September 1939. If you have GWX 2.1 [or WAC] is not normal to start in the midle of the ocean. The normal port is Konigsberg [or Kiel and Wilemshaven for WAC]. I hope that help you... ![]() Last edited by NGT; 05-18-08 at 02:51 AM. |

Apart from other fixes, it corrects the starting base for 7 Flot careers started in Aug 1939, which is incorrect only in the German language text file. |

I have this same problem. I've the SH3 config files for SH3 Commander and the bugfix. But I looked at the info page for the 7th flottila and it shows for the bases 7/39 to 8/39- Error! Is there any other way of fixing this bug?! And is there any way to stop the message spaming about the base changes also?

![]() If you have screwed up your GWX 2.1 installation, by not installing correctly or installing a mod that is not compatible with GWX 2.1, then it will look like this: ![]() In the latter case, or in ANY case where it does NOT say "Konigsberg", DISABLE ALL MODS EXCEPT FOR THE GWX 2.1 BUGFIX and try again. If your problem persists, reinstall GWX 2.1 as per the instructions on their website because frankly, your installation is stuffed. Quote:
Anyway, it's now over to the "GWX Support Team" to help both you and jaxa (they've been oddly quiet in this thread)... |
