How to setup for a straight shot?

How do I setup the TDC for a simple, straight forward shot?

This would be one of those quick, down and dirty straight out of the front type of thing. Any way to bypass the TDC and just let one fly?

Make sure PK is off, then:

Speed 0, Send-to-TDC
Bearing 0, Send-to-TDC
Fire
