I just downloaded some UBM add-ons (RSRDC_TMOv15_V371.7z, OpsMonsun_V200. and Stock_U-Boat_torpedo_fix.7z) and they look like notepad files. What do I do with them?

if your talking about the files after you opened the zip folders then you need the JSGME tool that lets you easy install and remove mods quickly and easy. the JSGME tool: Generic Mod Enabler version 2.1.0 http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/software/products.html the add-on is an expansion that converts the game to v1.5 and it takes the place of all the game updates (v1.2 , v1.3 , & v1.4) so you just install sh4 then the add-on and your done. the RSRDC_TMOv15_V371.7z is for use with the trigger maru mod found here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=132330 RSRDC has different versions depending on what other mods you are going to use with it. click here to read to figure out which one you want: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=123467 Last edited by Webster; 05-15-08 at 11:23 PM. |
