Two game questions

Love both the U-boat & American game now that patch 1.5 is out, its all I play. Two questions though;

1. On the U-boat campaign when can I upgrade to a snorkel, its 1944 already, is the snorkel moddled in the game like it was in SHIII??

2. Is there a mod that works on both the American and German side that allows one to zoom in closer to the shipps on the surface besides the Free Roaming camera? When I click on the camera to "follow" the next or previous ship I can only zoom to a certain amount, unlike in SHIII where you can get right on top of the ship SHIV doesnt allow that :-( Is there a mod that allows this?

1. I'd love a schnorkel, but they are not included. Only a few U-Boats in the Indian Ocean had them anyway.

2. I'm not sure.
