Lifeguard help in TMO

Ok sorry if this has been asked before. I have searched the forums but have been unable to find an answer.

Is it possible to arrive too early for a lifeguard mission? The mission brief said to arrive on station no later than December 9th (or 7th can't remeber exactly) anywho, I got there in June and can't find any downed airmen. Have been searching in a 20 mile radius around the lifeguard icon for about four days now and not a thing

Running version 1.5 with Trigger Maru overhaul and TMO service pack 1 Carlie and 2 Bravo.

Any help would definatley save my sanity
