Default End of Free Speach in Switzerland

http://www.euronews.net/index.php?pa...lng=1&option=1

Hot news from the "true democracy" camp!

I like all those PR wars: everybody are eager to accuse one another in all sins. USA, Europe, Russia, China, Middle East - all our governments acting double standartly and accusing others in doing so.
Damn, I've chosen wrong occupation: business instead of international PR

Best Regards

Ei, sieh da! Shaking the bad guy's hand and taking his money is fine - just to talk about it is sinning.

English version: "page not found".

Any chance of a synopsis?

A google shows about the only relevent item is an order by a Swiss judge to Swiss internet providers to block access to three US sites critical of Swiss courts. IP companies are appealing and plan to fight it in court.

Not sure what the significance of this is. Based on the Swiss constitution, it looks like the judge will be overruled. It seems a long way from 'the end of free speech.'

At least my link that I've posted yesterday shows error404 though it worked only yesterday morning.

Maybe something wrong with site's engine I don't know...

Best Regards!

Well, this link worked for me. It would however seem that the book is not being banned. Rather the author, who holds a fairly senior and sensitive govt appointment (ambassador to Argentina) has been told not to talk about it. Considering some parts that nation's history, speaking in public about catching war criminals and mass murderers might not help the Swiss cause in some circles.

That ban will of course evaporate the instant she is not in govt service. Such bans are common in many govts and, indeed, in many companies.
