Well I'm a N00b. . . .

I just started playing the game the other day. Loviung it. But I have a question.
I'm playing the Quick Mission, Tokyo - Saipan Convoy. I've sunk a LHT Cruiser, several merchants, some tankers, two sub chasers and a minelayer. I'm out of torp's, deck gun ammo, and AA gun ammo. But how do I "finish" the mission? When I exit, I get an "mission failed" message. Again, how do I end this. Haven't I sank enough ships? The right ships? My tonnage is over 39,000 right now. Thanks
Bob

Welcome to subsim.

it depends a bit on the mission but usually
forty eight hours gametime on station will
close the issue.

For the quick missions they usually want capital ships (usually Heavy Crusiers and up) or large freighters and large tankers. Total tonnnage usually dosent cut it. I always go for the carriers first, followed by battleships. If it is strictly convoy then the large tankers followed by large freighters. Usually dont go after DDs or SC unless they have caught me shallow waters and have to fight my way out.

Default Well I'm still a N00b. . .

Is there any documentation on what a skipper has to do to finish a "quick" mission?
