When you figure it out, let me know. I know there are some great tutorials here, but I cannot get it for SH3 or SH4 after MANY attempts.

Welcome and good luck with the targeting. I did it for awhile and found that from 800m it's hard to miss. But couldn't hit anything farther away than that.
