Most of the mods are common to all patches/releases.

Personally I see no need for separation, if mod's owners specify the compatibility...

I dont know about v1.5, but refering to previous versions, most mods doesnt works on all versions, many of them needs to be adapted to the present version.

About v1.5... i dont know, but if all mods are compatible, why there are new releases of previous mods dedicated for v1.5 ?

Yes... but that is a general forum.
A dedicated mod forum for this new game (Uboat Add-On) may be better.

I think a seperate forum for U-boat addon mods is a good idea. Not everyone is going to get the U-boat addon, though I can't imagine any self-respecting subsimmer NOT getting it.....:hmm:

People, we just went over this. A separate 1.5 mods forum will only fragment the community and make things even more confusing for people trying to look for compatible mods. The solution is really simple: READ the author's description of what version the mod is compatible with. Most modders here are very good about providing that information up front.

We dont need a seperate forum for 1.5 mods . What we need is a seperate forum for released mods .

Well imaging me...

U-Boats into the paciphic ? Not interesting for me.

When UBI is ready to give me a new version of SH3, in example SH5 Uboat into Atlantic... y will have it.

Plus i am tired to add new patchs, ruins my present installation, be enforced to re adapt all mods to the new patch and finally still having many ancestral bugs.

Well, we can have SH1, SH2, 688I, Subcommand, Dangerous Waters... all together, to not "fragment" the subcommunity... :hmm:

Come on Luke... ! is just a little bit of order...

Ah, Redwine....always the rouge captain! :p

And actually I'd like to change my stance on this. I was under the impression that there was already a 1.5 patch out for the game without the addon. If there isn't I don't see any need for a seperate forum.
