Scope Mod Question, observation overlay location?

Id like to use worn scopes on US boats but keep the overlays for the Uboats stock. i managed to revert the attack scope to stock for the uboat but im having a harder time reverting the German Observation scope to stock. I cant seem to find where the game keeps the stock German Observation scope overlay. Any ideas guys?

The stock german observation scope overlay is the same file as the attack scope, same as with the American subs by default. Observation periscope overlays were added by a mod.

You might try making a copy of the Periscope_Mask_1024.dds called OBSPeriscope_Mask_1024.dds, placed in the same folder. That might work, although I have no idea how the skin folders are actually handled. (Does it just look for a file path with a "skins/american/" folder in it and automatically replace it with "skins/german/" if needed? That would be terrible coding practice, if that's what they did.)
