Default Uboat Sonar Defect ?

So this is another wicked question, how does the Uboat sonar send target range ??? The one aboard my uboat can only send out bearing but no range detection...and won't allow me to ping the enemy...that means underwater attacks with periscope down is almost impossible...anyone noticed this??

THANKS! thought it was a bug...

Too bad for the kaleuns, can only rely on periscope now.

btw, another weirdo, is that you cannot manually adjust the gyro angle when firing a single torpedo ?? although, spread angle adjustment on salvos is pretty good.

Move the periscope around, and the gyroangle will change.
