I had to have some work done on my computer, and it is now able to run SH4.
My questions are- is it worth buying, are most of the bugs worked out of it, what kind of support is available?

For $20.00 at Walmart...you bet it is worth it. Is there mods galore for the game...you bet. Is an add on coming out with more support....you bet. So when are you going to pick it up?

$20 is a bargain! There are a few minor issues, my sonar man has a wonky arm and the helmsman doesn't know left from right, but apart from that, I haven't had any crashes or save game problems or anything that people were reporting.

Jump in, the water's lovely.

It's definitely all fixed with the latest patch, and with a few mods it's a superb game!

There is an official add-on for it coming in 2 days from now (2/28). You can get the bundle of original game + add-on for as low as $26
